Q. What bills can I pay using this service?

A. Patient balances due to Penn State Health Holy Spirit Clinic (e.g. physician bill) and Penn State Health Holy Spirit Hospital (e.g. hospital bill).

Q. How will my payment be applied to my balance?

A. Unless specified, payments received will be posted to the oldest balance first. Please note if you have outstanding balances with a collection agency, your payment could be applied to this account.

Q. I have insurance coverage. Why did I receive a bill?

A. As a courtesy to you the patient, Penn State Health and Holy Spirit bills your insurance company directly for services rendered. If a balance due is shown, the charge is now your responsibility. If you feel that your insurance company has paid your claim incorrectly, please contact your insurance company.

Q. Where can I find my Penn State Health Holy Spirit Record Number (MRN)?

A. You can obtain your patient medical record number from the Penn State Health Holy Spirit billing statement received in the mail. Other ways to obtain your medical record number include:
  • Your patient after visit summary, which is given to you at the end of each doctor's office visit
  • Your appointment notices, which you receive by email
  • By calling the Customer Service Department at 1-800-254-2619 or 717-531-5069

Q. When will my account reflect my payment?

A. After your payment is processed, balances will be adjusted and updated within 48 hours on this website.
